Lifetime Trip in China
Emily and Familes Were in Yangshuo
"My family had a trip of a lifetime in mainland China thanks to Odynovo. On arrival at each city, we were warmly greeted by our tour guides and drivers. In Guilin, our tour guide went above and beyond to give us a well-rounded tour. He taught us about the diverse culture and history of Guilin with much compassion and enthusiasm. We thoroughly enjoyed the Li River cruise, Karst Landscapes, West Street, Impression Lui Sanjie night show, bicycle tour around Yangshuo, as well as the Reed Flute Cave. I highly recommend Merrick (Li) in Guilin as well as Oynovo for any traveling plans to mainland China."
Beijing & Shanghai Tour With Odynovo Jan and Mark on the Great Wall
We toured Beijing with everything arranged by Odynovo, and we had private guide Dina who has excellent English skills. We enjoyed all the sights of the city, plus the Great Wall too. Highly recommend. At night we went out for Crispy Peking Duck, which was amazing.
The Shanghai skyline at night was so stunning we will never forget it, and a boat ride at night is a great way to experience. Our private guide JayJay with Odynovo has excellent English skills and very efficiently showed us the Shanghai sights during the day and arranged a wonderful lunch of local food. Highly recommend Odynovo for private tours throughout Asia, and highly recommend our guide JayJay, and also our private driver.
Amazing Travel Experience
Rachel and Richard Were on the Li River Cruise
"We were met by Li (guide) in Guilin and Mr. Lu (driver) his car was super comfortable, spotlessly clean throughout our whole journey (and always on time). As for Li, where do we start? Quite possibly the nicest man you will meet. His English was exceptional and he was very knowledgeable about our time in Guilin, the river cruise to Yangshuo, recommended one of the best shows you will see in your life for our first evening and a beautiful cycle ride the following day. He also adjusted the timings slightly so as to avoid the mid-day sun, which was very appreciated. Apart from the information regarding the local area we had many lovely conversations, he is well-traveled, very compassionate, caring and thoughtful."
China Travel FAQs

How to apply for a tourist visa to visit China?
To apply for a tourist visa, you will need to make an appointment with the embassy and prepare the following documents: a valid original passport, a color passport photo, the China visa application form, proof of legal stay or residence and your travel itinerary materials. Then submit your visa application form along with the required documents. After paying the fee, you will receive your China visa within 5 working days.

Can I enter China with a port visa (visa on arrival) now?
Yes! Tourists from several major countries, such as the United States and Australia, can now enter China with a port visa at Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Dalian, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Xi'an, Guilin, Hangzhou, Kunming, Guangzhou (Baiyun Airport), Shenzhen (Luohu, Shekou), Zhuhai (Gongbei).
For easier entry, you can choose a Shanghai Port Visa. With a Shanghai port visa, you can enter China through Shanghai port and travel to other cities within the country. How many days do I need in China?
China has so many to explore, how long it takes to travel just depends on the breadth and depth of your visit. We recommend at least one week. For first-timers, normally a week is enough to discover Beijing and Shanghai, the two most historical and modern cities in China. But if you want to see the pandas in Chengdu, Terra Cotta Warriors in Xi'an, picturesque karst landscapes in Guilin, etc., you may have to spend around 2 weeks or more. No matter whether you are looking for culture, food, history, or photography, we can help to customize a personal itinerary according to your specific interests. Check our most recommended China tours and make your dream happen!
Can I combine my visit to China with another country?
Yes. As we operate tours in 80+ destinations in Asia and other continents, it is easy to extend your China tour to a neighboring country or more, such as South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, etc. If you are looking for a multi-country tour, just send us an inquiry and there will be a 1:1 travel consultant to help you design a unique itinerary.
