Welcome to Beijing! Make your way to the hotel independently or choose our optional private airport transfer. Take time to relax and recover from your journey, as your 10-day China adventure is about to begin. An unforgettable experience awaits.

- Day 2: Beijing – Forbidden City & Hutong Life
Today’s program features the Forbidden City (Palace Museum) and a guided hutong visit with Peking Opera. Your morning begins at Tiananmen Square, Beijing’s symbolic political heart, where the impressive scale and atmosphere of the surrounding architecture set the tone for the day.
Next, enter the Forbidden City and admire its finely crafted halls and palaces while learning stories from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Walking through this vast complex feels like stepping directly into China’s imperial past.
After a traditional Chinese lunch, explore Beijing’s historic hutongs with your guide. Visit former siheyuan homes of notable figures, enjoy a short Peking Opera performance with a local drink, and conclude with a walk along Dingfu Street, experiencing the charm of old Beijing.

- Day 3: Great Wall Experience & Olympic Landmarks
After breakfast, travel about two hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area. Take the cable car to the top and stroll along this well-preserved section, known for its gentle paths, numerous watchtowers, and stunning views throughout the year.
In the afternoon, return to Beijing with short photo stops at the Olympic Bird’s Nest Stadium and the Water Cube. You’ll also visit a nearby pearl shop before heading back to your hotel.

Begin your morning at a lively local market in Beijing, where stalls overflow with fresh produce and the scent of steamed buns fills the air, offering a delightful start to the day.
Next, visit the Temple of Heaven, once a Ming-era ceremonial site for praying for good harvests. Today, it serves as a vibrant public park where locals practice tai chi, perform sword dances, and create calligraphy on the pavement with water brushes—an authentic look at everyday life in Beijing.
Later, head to the railway station for a high-speed train to Xi’an. Upon arrival, your local guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel.

Today, discover the many faces of Shanghai. Begin at the famous Bund, where elegant historic buildings reflect the city’s past. Then step away from the crowds and into the peaceful Yu Garden, a beautifully preserved Ming-dynasty garden filled with pavilions, ponds, and sculpted rocks.
Next, experience Shanghai’s cultural mix at Fuxing Park, a calm retreat where locals practice tai chi among French-inspired gardens. Continue with a walk through the narrow lanes of the Bugaoli neighborhood to see everyday life as it once was, and sample local snacks while listening to stories of old Shanghai.
