Our Commitment to You
At Royal Travel LLC, we understand that travel plans can change. We strive to make every journey seamless — and when cancellations are unavoidable, we aim to handle them with fairness, transparency, and care. Please read the following policy carefully before making a booking.
Flight Ticket Cancellations

Flight ticket refunds are governed by the fare rules of the respective airline. Royal Travel LLC acts as an intermediary and will apply the following:

  • Refundable tickets: Airline refund minus any applicable service fee charged by Royal Travel LLC.
  • Non-refundable tickets: No cash refund. A travel credit or rebooking may be possible subject to airline terms.
  • Processing Time: Airline refunds typically take 7–21 business days once processed by the carrier.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected flight cancellations.

Hotel & Accommodation Cancellations

Hotel cancellation terms vary by property and are clearly communicated at the time of booking. Generally:

  • Cancellations made 30+ days before check-in may receive a full or partial refund.
  • Cancellations made within 14–29 days may incur a 1–2 night penalty fee.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days or on the day of check-in are non-refundable in most cases.
  • Non-refundable room rates (often discounted) cannot be refunded under any circumstance.
Cruise Cancellations

Cruise reservations follow cruise line-specific policies. Typical timelines:

  • 90+ days before sailing: Full refund minus deposit
  • 60–89 days: 25% cancellation fee
  • 30–59 days: 50% cancellation fee
  • Under 30 days: 100% cancellation (no refund)


Deposits for cruise bookings are generally non-refundable once paid.

Force Majeure

In the event of cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control — including natural disasters, pandemics, government travel restrictions, wars, or civil unrest — Royal Travel LLC will make every effort to offer:

  • A reschedule to an alternative date at no extra cost, or
  • A travel credit valid for 18 months from the original travel date.

Cash refunds in force majeure scenarios are subject to supplier recovery and may not always be possible.

Customized & Private Tours

Tailored and bespoke tours involve pre-committed costs with hotels, guides, and local operators. As such:

  • Deposits (typically 20–30%) are non-refundable once the itinerary is confirmed.
  • The remaining balance follows the standard cancellation schedule in Section 1.
  • Any changes to the itinerary after confirmation may incur additional charges.
Amendments & Modifications

Changes to confirmed bookings (date changes, destination modifications, passenger substitutions) are subject to availability and may attract:

  • An amendment fee of $50–$150 per booking depending on the nature of the change, plus
  • Any fare or rate differences applicable at the time of modification.
Travel Insurance

We strongly encourage all travelers to purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Travel insurance can cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and more — giving you peace of mind throughout your journey.

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund or cancellation:

  1. Email us at travel@royalairtrip.com with your booking reference number, full name, and reason for cancellation.
  2. Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
  3. Eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10–15 business days of approval.
