Welcome to Beijing! Upon landing, make your way to your downtown hotel at your own pace by airport bus or taxi. After check-in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure—explore the neighborhood, relax after your journey, or visit nearby attractions as you wish.

Begin the day at Tiananmen Square, one of the world’s most iconic public spaces, before stepping into the grandeur of the Forbidden City. Once the imperial residence of China’s emperors, its magnificent halls, peaceful courtyards, and intricate architectural details offer a vivid glimpse into centuries of royal history.

Later, join your guide for an immersive walk through Beijing’s historic hutongs, where narrow lanes reveal traditional courtyard homes that once belonged to influential families. Experience the rhythms of local life and culture while enjoying drinks during a Peking Opera performance. Conclude the day with a relaxed stroll along Dingfu Street, where hidden alleys and everyday scenes showcase the timeless character of old Beijing.

This morning, travel approximately two hours to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, a quieter and more scenic alternative to the busy Badaling stretch. Surrounded by lush greenery, this section features closely spaced watchtowers and a gently graded path, making it ideal for an enjoyable and rewarding walk while taking in breathtaking views.

In the late afternoon, return to the city, passing by Beijing’s modern landmarks—the Olympic Bird’s Nest and Water Cube—with a stop at a nearby pearl store along the way.
