Bienvenido to Argentina, a land of rich natural diversity and wildlife! Upon landing in Buenos Aires, a representative will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to rest and recover from your journey.

Today, enjoy a peaceful bird watching excursion in the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve.

Situated along the southern edge of the River Plate, Costanera Sur is the largest green area in Buenos Aires. Comprising wetlands, grasslands, scrub, and ponds, the reserve is a sanctuary for wildlife, particularly birds, and provides a serene retreat from the city’s busy streets. During your several-hour visit, you can enjoy fresh air and observe a variety of bird species, including Black-necked Swans, Gray-necked Wood Rails, Yellow-billed Cardinals, and Long-winged Harriers.

Keep your camera and binoculars ready to capture these native inhabitants in their natural habitat.

After a 4×4 drive through fields and plantations, arrive at Portal Laguna, the park’s southeastern entrance. From here, begin a boat tour along the wide channel to reach Laguna Valle. Observing wildlife from the boat offers a unique perspective and a memorable experience.

Early this morning, set out for Peninsula Valdés, a prime location to observe diverse marine wildlife. Begin with a short introduction at the Interpretation Center before proceeding to Puerto Pirámides, where you may encounter Southern right whales (optional, June–December).

Next, visit Punta Pirámides lobería, home to a large seal colony. Continue past a penguin colony to see Magellanic penguins in their natural habitat, and then explore the salt flats at Salinas. On the return journey to your hotel, enjoy sightings of Patagonia’s characteristic flora and fauna.

Today, journey approximately 70 km from Puerto Madryn to explore Punta Ninfas. Key sights include the Punta Ninfas Lighthouse at the southern entrance of Golfo Nuevo, nearby beaches that serve as habitats for Elephant seals, and El Pedral, a historic Patagonian estancia dating back to the early 20th century.

Take a short walk to the shoreline to observe the charming Magellanic penguin colony. Enjoy a traditional lunch at the estancia before returning to your hotel.
