He helped design our Egypt/ Jordan tour in October of 2021 and did such a great job we asked him to arrange our Thailand trip and we were not disappointed!! We originally had Singapore as part of our itinerary ( for 3 days ) and had paid for some of these accommodations but due to a death in our family had to attend a funeral and had to change our plans. How many days do I need?
How long it takes in Thailand depends on the breadth and depth of your visit. The lengths of our Thailand tours are concentrated in 6-14 days, with activities, accommodation, and meals arranged for every day. Normally one week is enough to explore some of the best places in Thailand, like Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai, and Phuket, but if you are planning a journey from north to south, or prefer some more days for relaxing on the beaches, a two-week journey would be better.
Can I combine Thailand with another country?
Sure. With our tailor-made service, it is easy to extend your Thailand tour to more destinations, such as Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Just let us know if you are looking for a multi-country tour and we will help you plan it.
How can I obtain my visa to Thailand?
Under normal circumstances, tourists who come from visa-exempt countries such as America, British, Canada, Australia, etc. can enter Thailand without a visa to stay not over 30 days. However, if you're not from a visa-exempt country or need to stay longer, you need to obtain a tourist visa. Documents required:
1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months.
2. Photograph of the applicant, taken within the past six months.
3. Evidence of travel from Thailand (air ticket paid in full).
4. Evidence of adequate finance (20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family).
Is it a common practice to give tips in Thailand?
Tipping is not mandatory while traveling in Thailand. But considered as a gesture of appreciation for good service, it is certainly welcome. Based on your satisfaction with the tour, you may tip your guide and driver before they wish you farewell as appreciation. Suggested tips are USD 5-10 per traveler per day as tips for the guide, USD 4-6 per traveler per day as tips for the driver, and USD 2 as tips for the hotel and restaurant waitress. However, you may pay more or less depending on their services.
Is it common to use credit cards in Thailand?
Credit cards are widely accepted in Thailand, especially in tourist areas. In most hotels, shopping malls, and restaurants, you can freely use MasterCard or Visa for purchasing. When traveling to some rural areas and at small shops or stalls, taking some small notes with you is highly recommended as cash is more welcomed.
