- Day 1: San José to Arenal Volcano
After clearing immigration and customs at Juan Santamaría International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative, who will assist with your luggage and escort you to a private vehicle. You’ll then travel to your hotel near the Arenal Volcano region, a drive of approximately three hours. Along the way, you’ll receive a short overview of Costa Rica, and once you arrive at the hotel, your guide will review the itinerary in detail.

- Day 2: Arenal – La Fortuna Waterfall Trek and Swim
The hike to La Fortuna Waterfall is moderately challenging, with approximately 500 steps down and the same number back up, but it is an experience not to be missed. Along the trail, you’ll be surrounded by lush rainforest scenery and have chances to spot birds and other wildlife. At the base of the waterfall, enjoy time to take stunning photos and cool off with a refreshing swim in the clear natural pools. Afterward, you can rinse off, change into dry clothes, and savor a tasty tropical fruit snack with your guide.

- Day 3: Arenal – Arenal Volcano Nature Walk
The paths surrounding the base of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal are mostly level, making them perfect for a relaxed walk. Joined by an experienced naturalist guide, you will explore Arenal Volcano National Park, taking in spectacular views of the majestic volcano and tranquil lake while watching for birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. There will be plenty of chances to capture memorable photos along the way. During the walk, you will also pass through sections with sparse vegetation, shaped by the powerful lava flows from the 1968 eruption.
In the evening, enjoy a memorable dinner at the elegant Tabacón Resort.

- Day 4: Arenal to Manuel Antonio – Private Transfer
Today, you will travel by private vehicle from the Arenal region to the beautiful coastal town of Manuel Antonio, a journey of approximately four and a half hours.
Manuel Antonio is renowned for its famous national park, which features pristine beaches, rich plant and animal life, and a variety of activities such as snorkeling and nature walks. With its mix of wildlife, rainforest, and coastline, it is an ideal destination for families, couples, nature lovers, and travelers of all kinds.

- Day 5: Manuel Antonio – Guided Walk in the National Park
The tempo of today’s excursion will be set according to your group’s preferences and comfort level. As you explore the park, you’ll have the chance to spot a wide variety of wildlife in their natural environment, including sloths, monkeys, anteaters, numerous bird species, and non-venomous snakes. Along the way, you can pause whenever you wish to enjoy fresh local fruits and light refreshments while taking in the surrounding scenery.
In addition, you’ll have free time to relax and swim in the clear waters along the untouched beaches within Manuel Antonio National Park.

- Day 6: Manuel Antonio – Return to San José
It’s time to bid farewell to the natural beauty and warm hospitality of Costa Rica.
Your driver will collect you from your hotel and transfer you directly to San José International Airport. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours, and you are advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours prior to your scheduled departure.
