- Day 1: Arrival in Paro & Drive to Thimphu (Approx. 1.5 Hours)
Upon landing at Paro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and begin a private transfer to Thimphu. Along the scenic route, pause near the Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Chain Bridge to capture memorable photos of this historic landmark.
After checking in at your hotel in Thimphu, continue sightseeing with a visit to the impressive Buddha Dordenma Statue overlooking the valley. Proceed to the Motithang Takin Preserve to observe the takin, Bhutan’s unique national animal known for its sheep-like head and buffalo-shaped body. Later, explore Zilukha Nunnery, the Bhutan Post Office Headquarters, and Thimphu Dzong (Tashichho Dzong), the country’s administrative and religious center.
Note: The government offices inside Thimphu Dzong are open to visitors only after 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday.

- Day 2: Scenic Drive from Thimphu to Punakha (Approx. 3 Hours)
After breakfast, depart Thimphu and enjoy a picturesque drive toward Punakha. En route, stop at the Dochula Pass to take in sweeping views of the Himalayan ranges. Here, explore the peaceful cluster of 108 memorial stupas, known as the Druk Wangyal Chortens.
Continue onward to Chimi Lhakhang, a revered fertility temple where many couples come to seek blessings from the saint Drukpa Kunley. Later, visit the stunning Punakha Dzong, widely regarded as Bhutan’s most beautiful fortress. Situated at the meeting point of the Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu rivers, the dzong is accessed via a traditional wooden cantilever bridge spanning the river.

- Day 3: Return to Paro & Cultural Encounters (Approx. 4 Hours)
This morning, travel back to Paro on a scenic four-hour drive. Upon arrival, visit Paro Dzong, followed by Ta Dzong, the former watchtower that now houses the National Museum, offering insight into Bhutan’s rich heritage.
Next, take a short drive to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples, beautifully set in the Paro Valley. Conclude the day with a visit to a local farmhouse, where you can interact with welcoming Bhutanese families and enjoy tasting traditional homemade wine.

- Day 4: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Trek & Drukgyel Dzong
Today is dedicated to an inspiring hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang), dramatically perched about 900 meters above the Paro Valley. The ascent requires moderate physical effort, but reaching the viewpoint rewards you with breathtaking scenery and a deep sense of spiritual tranquility.
After completing the trek, continue to the historic ruins of Drukgyel Dzong. From this site, enjoy excellent photo opportunities with the majestic Mount Chomolhari forming a stunning natural backdrop.

Enjoy a relaxed morning at your own pace. At the appropriate time, your guide will meet you and transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.
