Start your exploration of India from the iconic Jama Masjid hidden in Old Delhi. It is the best mosque from the Mughal era with an open courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees. Out of it is the bustling local bazaar of Chandni Chowk. Hop on a rickshaw and navigate through the narrow lanes of the streets for a glimpse of local daily life.
Pay respect to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat and then continue to Qutub Minar, a soaring 12th-century tower with stone carvings of geometric patterns and Arabic scripts. Finish the day with an insight into the local religion at the colorful Laxmi Narayan Temple.
