- Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Welcome to Beijing, China’s vibrant capital! Your 10-day highlights journey starts here. Upon arrival, proceed to your centrally located hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the nearby area at your leisure.

- Day 2: Discover the Forbidden City & Hutongs
Begin your morning at Tiananmen Square, taking in the iconic cultural landmarks around it. Next, enter the Forbidden City, where exploring the former residence of Ming and Qing emperors feels like stepping back in time. Notice the glazed tiles, detailed carvings, and mythical roof creatures that reveal centuries of history.
In the afternoon, stroll through Beijing’s historic hutongs. These narrow lanes showcase the city’s past and daily life. With your guide, visit former homes of prominent figures, and enjoy a Peking opera demonstration accompanied by a traditional beverage.

- Day 3: Hike the Mutianyu Great Wall
After breakfast, enjoy a 2-hour drive to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Take the cable car up, then walk along the ancient steps with your guide. Learn the fascinating history while admiring seasonal scenery: vibrant greens in spring and summer, fiery tones in autumn, and a snowy landscape in winter.
On the return to Beijing, stop for photos at the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube, and visit a nearby pearl store.

- Day 4: Beijing Market Visit & Travel to Xi’an
Begin your morning exploring a bustling Beijing market. Enjoy the sights and aromas of local breakfast stalls and a vibrant selection of seasonal produce, including some rare items even locals may not recognize.
Next, visit the Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Originally a Ming-dynasty altar for harvest ceremonies, it is now a lively park where locals practice tai chi and morning sword exercises.
Later, board the high-speed train to Xi’an. Upon arrival, your local guide will assist you to ensure a smooth hotel check-in.

Board the high-speed train for an approximately 4-hour journey to Chengdu. Upon arrival, your guide will welcome you at the station and assist with hotel check-in.
Once settled, take some time to explore Chengdu. Visit Kuanzhai Alley or Jinli Ancient Street to admire traditional architecture and enjoy a variety of local snacks at your own pace.

- Day 7: Chengdu Experience – Pandas, Hotpot & Tea
Start the day with a visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Around 8:30 am, pandas are most active, giving you the best chance to see them playing, eating, and climbing. With some luck, you may even catch sight of playful panda cubs!
At lunchtime, enjoy Sichuan’s famous hotpot, savoring bold and spicy flavors. In the afternoon, visit Wenshu Monastery. Its red walls, bamboo shadows, and peaceful courtyards create a serene setting. Relax with a cup of gaiwan tea while observing local life and immersing yourself in Chengdu’s cultural charm.

- Day 8: Fly from Chengdu to Shanghai
Spend the morning at leisure before your guide meets you for the transfer to the airport and your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, your guide will welcome you and escort you to the hotel for check-in.
