- Day 2: Santiago – Casablanca Valley Wine Experience
Chile’s unique geography creates ideal conditions for viticulture, and many of the country’s most celebrated wine regions are located near Santiago, making them perfect for day trips from the capital.
Today’s excursion takes you to the Casablanca Valley, one of the newest wine-producing regions in the area. Its proximity to the Pacific Ocean brings cooler temperatures than most inland valleys, a key factor behind the exceptional quality of its white wines. - Day 5: Easter Island – Explore Moai Statues & Ancient Culture
Easter Island is famous for its massive stone figures, known as moai, which range in height from 3 to 10 meters, with the average around 4.5 meters. These remarkable statues were crafted by the indigenous Rapa Nui people, who are believed to have settled on the island around 800 AD.
Today, enjoy a full-day Seat-In-Coach tour to uncover the mysteries behind these iconic stone sculptures. Discover why the round stone, Te Pito Kura, near the largest Ahu Te Pito Kura, is said to influence compass directions. Learn why almost 400 moai remain scattered across the hills of Rano Raraku, and why Ahu Tongariki is the perfect spot to watch the sunrise, particularly between December 21 and March 21. The tour also includes a visit to Ahu Akahanga, offering a glimpse of Easter Island as it appeared when first encountered by Europeans, and a chance to relax on the white sandy beach of Anakena.

- Day 6: Easter Island – Orongo Village & Ahu Akivi Exploration
At a certain point in history, the old Moai-centered belief system gradually gave way to the worship of the Creator God, Make Make. To honor Make Make, the islanders held the famous Birdman Competition, where participants had to retrieve the first egg of the season from the offshore islet of Motu Nui. The winner earned the prestigious title of Birdman for that year, a role of great significance in Rapa Nui society.
Spend the morning exploring the sacred village of Orongo, the ceremonial site of the Birdman Competition. Wander among the circular stone houses and admire the volcanic rock walls adorned with bird-man motifs, gaining a deeper understanding of this fascinating ritual.
In the afternoon, visit Ahu Akivi, one of the most mysterious groups of moai on the island. Unlike other statues, which stand along the coast facing inland, these moai face the ocean from inland, creating a unique alignment. From this site, enjoy a short hike to two nearby archaeological highlights: the Ana Te Pahu cave and Puna Pau volcano, the source of the Pukao stone hats that once adorned several moai.
